Found out about Square Foot Gardening, gonna give it a try.

My wife told me about a class at Saddleback Church called Gardening for Life. It was very interesting to me, so I looked into it and signed up!  It led me to
http://www.newwaystofeedtheworld.blogspot.com/.  What a great way to garden and teach others.  So I want to try it and see if it's that easy.
They got some of their ideas from a book called Square Foot Gardening by Mel Bartholomew. After reading some of this book, I have confidence that I can maintain an healthy and productive garden.  If I can do that, maybe I can also teach others around the world.

First, i'm gonna make some compost.



Mix in some steer manure and vermiculite.

Then, i'm gonna make some space.
